About the box

Our Mindful Mail boxes are designed to completely upgrade your wellness journey, with accessibility and flexibility in mind, so the activities and ideas contained work around you and don’t feel like a chore to tick off your to-do list.

Each element is explained with the psychological and physiological benefits highlighted so you know exactly why the practices are so life-changing.

We include as many ingredients in your box as possible to make engaging in the wellness activities as easy and joyful as possible.

  • As soon as you sign up, you’ll have access to the library of content and you’ll be automatically sent the Mindful Mail box for the month after next.

  • Each box is designed by someone who has experienced the benefits of the practices first-hand and who is an accredited mindfulness and meditation teacher. Each of the practices is also backed up by strong scientific evidence so you can trust that the practices will have the intended impact.

  • We know that circumstances change, so there’s no contract. You can upgrade to a yearly membership or cancel your subscription anytime. If you cancel, you’ll keep the benefits of the membership page until the next billing cycle but will not be sent the next box.

  • I am so proud of the content in each month’s box. It has been designed specifically to honour the time of year and fluctuations in your hormones and mood. All the content is something I would be delighted to receive so I hope you are too!

With each box, you will receive a breakdown of the positive psychological impact of the meditations, worksheets and activities that are included so you can really understand the positive impact on your brain chemistry, memory, concentration, mood, confidence, and so much more.

  • I’m sure you’ve heard that what the mind forgets, the body remembers, and that’s so true. Not only do mindfulness practices positively impact your brain, they also have a profound impact on your physical wellbeing too. Research has found impacts such as improved sleep, reduced stress and anxiety levels, healthier immune systems, improved emotional regulation, reduced chronic pain, and so much more.

  • Another goal of Mindful Mail is to shout about the wonderful part of the world that is North East England. There are so many fantastic businesses and creators here that I want to highlight, so each month your Mindful Mail box will contain gifts, discounts, shout outs, recommendations and all-round appreciation for North East businesses that are connected to the world of wellness and joy.

  • I am a trained mindfulness and meditation teacher, qualified to teach a mindfulness curriculum to 7-11 year-olds, and as an ex-classroom teacher I am always keen to give something back to the staff that I know work so hard for our young people. That’s why every month, 10% of the profits go towards funding mindfulness in schools. Whether that’s teaching mindfulness to the pupils, offering wellbeing sessions for staff or providing resources for classrooms, you have helped build these skills in the education sector :-)

  • Not only are you doing yourself a favour by putting your mental wellbeing on your priority list, you are also making a dream of mine come true! These boxes were a little seed of an idea in my teenage years that, throughout the many trials and tribulations of my life, has blossomed slowly into a bigger idea, until it’s now become a physical product. So for every purchase, you are enabling me to fulfil a dream. For that I will be eternally grateful.

  • In each box you will receive:

    • The Mindful Mail magazine: your monthly guide to wellness. This will introduce all elements of the box and provide descriptions and explanations of the benefits of the practices

    • Access to four meditations - Explained in detail with access to the audio files that you can play again and again

    • Four solo date ideas ranging from free to expensive, from short durations to multiple day durations

    • Two mindfulness worksheets for reflection and growth

    • Access to the feel good playlist, which is updated with eight feel-good tracks each month

    • An activity of the month for wellbeing and joy, with all of the ingredients you will need. Think wholesome and creative.

    • Something cute and lovely from a North East business such as a candle, wax melts, stickers, or chocolate

  • When you sign up to Mindful Mail, you'll create an account. Once an account is created, you’ll automatically be added to the mailing list and will receive your Mindful Mail box at the start of the next month. From your account, you'll be able to access our library of content, manage your personal information, and more.

  • Definitely. You can renew your monthly membership or upgrade to an annual membership (saving £68!) anytime.

  • Yes! The library is updated with fresh content every month once the Mindful Mail boxes have been sent out.

  • Memberships are flexible and can be cancelled at any time from your account. You’ll retain access to the library content through the end of your current billing cycle.

Meet the Founder

I’m Emma and I’m the founder of Mindful Meets and Mindful Mail.

My goal through creating this box was firstly to deepen my connection to myself in a loving way through the mindfulness practices that I know and love. Therefore, I have only included content that brings me joy, and sparks a sense of motivation to actually take the time for myself. The activities and other content included in Mindful Mail are activities that I have already practiced and have noticed the benefits of in my day-to-day life. What’s more, these boxes have enabled me to fulfil my creative itch that wasn’t getting scratched elsewhere.

In my own personal life I have overcome many obstacles and traumas, and I really wanted to share what I have learned with the wider world, because of the profoundly positive impact these practices have had for me. I have more confidence, self esteem, self acceptance and joy than I have ever experienced on a regular basis.

So Mindful Mail is my way of giving as many of you as possible the benefits of mindfulness that I’ve experienced.

Fun facts:

  • I have a rescue cat called Buddy who is the love of my life. He’s six years old now and has moved from place to place with me over the last five years.

  • I grew up in a little town called Alsager, but have lived all over including Nottingham, Murcia in Spain, Lisbon in Portugal and now North Shields in the North East of England.

  • I have a degree in Spanish, Portuguese and Business Management and went on to become a secondary school Spanish teacher after this (which I no longer do)

  • I love sparkly things, and you will usually find me dressed in something sparkly with tinsels in my hair

  • My favourite activities include trips to the beach, dipping in the sea (even better if combined with a sauna session), practicing yoga (even better if at sunrise/sunset), having a boogie with friends, reading and doing anything creative
