You may wish to experience the more laid-back approach of online classes, but with a more personalised touch. If this is the case then online one-to-one sessions are for you!
You will experience all of the benefits that personalised mindfulness meditation practice has to offer (including reduced stress and anxiety, improved relationships, improved focus and concentration, improved motivation, improved emotional regulation and increased self-compassion), from the comfort of your own home.
This also may be a fantastic option for you if you are thinking about signing up to the 8-Week Programme, but would like a taster session to see if it is for you.
One-to-one classes follow a similar format to the group classes as you will learn about a specific aspect of mindfulness and how practicing in this way can be beneficial. You will then be guided through a mindfulness meditation with Emma, our experienced and accredited mindfulness teacher. Finally, you will have the opportunity to reflect on your experiences.
As one-to-one sessions are tailored to your specific needs, you must attend a FREE 30 minute consultation before your first session. During this consultation we will talk about your previous experience of mindfulness and meditation, what you would like to get out of the practice, and whether there may be any barriers to this (including contraindications).
Mindfulness can be considered a very safe practice that is unlikely to be harmful to participants. However, there are certain circumstances in which mindfulness is not recommended. These contraindications can be found in the Terms and Conditions.

One-to-One 8-Week Mindfulness Now Course
Sometimes you might prefer to experience mindfulness classes one-to-one with an experienced mindfulness teacher. This experience allows us to work more closely together, since the programme can be tailored specifically to you and your needs, combining Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) approaches.
You may wish to focus your mindfulness on something in particular, such as manging stress, pain or anxiety, developing resilience and emotional regulation, improving your self-compassion or feeling more joyous on a day-to-day basis. These are all elements that the 8-week course can offer you.
To find out whether this course is for you, we offer a FREE 30 minute consultation session prior to commencing the course, which involves discussing your needs, prior experiences with mindfulness and commitment to the practice. After that there is no obligation or pressure to commit to the course if you feel it is not for you.

Classes run for 1 hour each week for a period of 8 consecutive weeks. At the moment, sessions take place online over Google Meet, which can be accessed even if you do not have a Google email address. We are currently seeking venues to host one-to-one sessions in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne area so that face-to-face one-to-one courses can become available.
