Who we are

We believe that it is possible to experience the benefits of mindfulness even if you do not have the time to sit down and meditate every day.

Our mission is to help as many people as possible to prioritise their mental health through mindfulness. That all starts with giving you the tools to cultivate mindfulness in your day-to-day.

As a result, you will wake up to your life and be able to reap the multiple scientifically proven benefits of mindfulness such as reduced stress and anxiety, improved relationships, improved sleep, increased productivity and motivation and so much more! This will enable you to take charge of your mental health and live a life that feels meaningful to you.

Emma is our expert mindfulness teacher who has years of experience and accreditations teaching mindfulness. She has had a passion for mindfulness since her childhood, before she even knew it had a name. Emma kept a daily gratitude journal since the age of 13 and can even remember meditating on her bed before the age of 10.

Since childhood, Emma has dipped in and out of regular dedicated mindfulness practice. It always seemed to find its way back to her at times of struggle, and has therefore helped her to overcome the biggest challenges in her life, including childhood trauma, chronic anxiety, eating disorders and burnout from stress.

Emma became a classroom teacher, during this time realising that her true joy came from teaching her students mindfulness at the beginning of every lesson and spreading awareness of the practice amongst school staff.

Emma founded Mindful Meets in 2022, eager to teach people mindfulness on a more regular basis through movement, guided meditations and conversation. She now practices mindfulness, both formally and informally, every day and understands the effects on one’s life not just in times of struggle, but in the way it can enhance times of happiness too.

Emma is very excited to work with you to help you to experience the life-changing effects of regular mindfulness practice!
